Sampler Sunday, Famous Friday, Awards, and TagYouAreIt. (Jeeze that's a lot).

Holy goodness gracious cow crap, this is gonna be a long one! And for those of you who follow you know I like to type tons, whether it's a comment or a post, I write A LOT!

So we will start at the top with Sampler Sunday. How about a sample of my YA WIP "Piranhas and Goldfish":

     Yeah. There was no way that was happening. The cat would have to clean its own litter box. After all, I was not the one who used it last. Fuzz-butt did, the little stinker. The fur ball did its business in two places, the litter box and the bathroom. I know, you are thinking smart kitty but oh no. Kitty would pee on my favorite pink princess towel my mom got me when I was six. I suppose the fuzzy-bottomed ape of a cat was trying to tell me that the towel had an age limit on it and that seventeen exceeded it, or maybe I did not clean her personal business box enough, leaving her no other choice but to find the next best thing. It was bad enough I had to cater to my little brother AND survive high school, but my Momma-dearest expected me to play nursemaid to a midget tigress too.

            “Well all I have to say is, whoever dealt it should have to deal with it and smell it.”

“Oh just do me a favor Jani the cat can’t help herself.” My Madre persisted, waving a poopy-scoop in my face.

“Then maybe we need a new Fuzz-butt. A more efficient Fuzz-butt.”

“Don’t say that. The little thing loves you.” My mom cooed.

“Then why does the stupid feline pee on my favorite bath towel?!”

“Jani. Please. Just one favor?”

“Why don’t you do me a favor and clean my room for me? Oh. Wait a sec. I like the stench of my dirty socks and peanut butter sandwiches. Maybe the cat likes her funk too.”

My mom poked the smelly shovel at me. I dodged but she continued to assault. I had no defense against the plastic weapon she yielded.

“STOP!”

Sadistic Mama continued saying, “Not until you help out!” The perverted woman laughed at my torment. Like I said, she was clearly sadistic, mad—and dare I say? A poop-shovel wielding fiend! The nerve of the woman!

I took the plastic handle from her hands, pinching it between my pointer finger and thumb of my left hand.

     “What a joy to have done business with you Jane.” Mom sang but I caught the evil smile dripping from the corners of her Tequila Sunrise lips as she turned on her burgundy pumps and went to the kitchen to make dinner.

I had an epiphany while I was waiting for an elderly couple to catch up to me at the diner (I had walked to the seat where I wanted them to sit since I'm the hostess but they were 100X slower than me). Oh Boy! This will be funny.

So here I go...

(1) I drink soy protein shakes and LOOOOOVE them.

(2) I play guitar like a fiend.

(3) I never learned how to swim, in fact a traumatic experience as a child still keeps me from the water.

(4) I have a Maori tattoo of an eagle inside of a sun on my ribs below my left boob.

(5) I <3 popcorn more than I <3 anything.

(6) I have never donated blood, not even for the free food.

(7) I am in love with frigid weather, in fact I want to move to Vermont someday.

So now it is up to you. Which is my TRUTH??? Guess correctly and I will most DEFINITELY pass it onto you.

3) Blog. Done.
4) Study for Criminal Justice. Prob not gonna happen.
5) Give a birthday gift to my BEST FRIEND Alexa.

Question 5: What five things would you do if you were a billionaire?
1) DONATE! I'm big on charity and sharing.
2) Pay for college and graduate school.
3) Pay for my sisters' college and other needs.
4) Replace my clunker (aka I guess you could call it a car).
5) Move to northern Australia and live on the beach.
