| A Professional Writer/Illustrator. Blogger. A fairy princess. And fought alongside Robin Hood in the Battle of Nottingham. (Okay, I'm a compulsive liar... the last two aren't true.) |
I am an author, illustrator, graphic designer, writing coach and writer’s conference presenter. (She's AWESOME)2) RANDOM FACT!
I paint my toenails with glittery pink nail polish.3) What are you working on currently?
Catching up on emails before I start writing my next book.4) CRAZY FACT!
I’ve written eight novels. (I TOLD YOU SHE WAS UBER AWESOME!)5) What is your ultimate goal / dream?
Develop my super powers and save the world.6) UBER COOL FACT!
I can accurately shoot a bow and arrow while standing upside down and backwards. (Robin Hood could have used you.)7) What advice would you give to others interested in publishing?
Hang in there! You can do it! Every author must find their own way to publication. Find out what way is best for you and go for it! Get a support group, you’ll need it. The only thing harder than being an author is being married to one.8) STRANGEST THING YOU’VE EVER EATEN!
When I was a little I ate a half a cube of butter and didn’t die.9) What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t look behind you. Keep your eyes straight ahead of you!10) BOXERS OR BRIEFS?
EEP! Don’t know how to answer that one. *turning red*11) Who inspires you and why?
That’s a hard one. I’m inspired by so many people, places, historical and geographic facts. I write fantasy. I tell my fellow fantasy authors to look at the world around them for inspiration. Earth and its people are amazing, mystical, and enchanting!12) RICH AND MISERABLE OR BROKE AND HAPPY?
I am satisfied with where I’m at and look forward to the future.13) Describe a triumphant moment in your quest to publish?
It seems like every day something new and wonderful happens.14) SMELL LIKE FETA CHEESE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE OR WEAR A CHASTITY BELT UNTIL DEATH DO YOU PART?
HA! <-- WINNING15) What inspired you to seek publication? How did you get started? What made you begin writing?
It just came out of me one night and hasn’t stopped flowing for 15 years. In fact, things have only sped up.16) A WORD YOU HAVE TROUBLE SPELLING FOR NO REASON? (come on, everyone has got one)
Defiantly and definitely. I get those two mixed up all the time. So I’m always telling people I will “defiantly” help them or I’ll “defiantly” be there. LOL17) Describe a low moment in your quest to publish and detail how you overcame it?
I actually had representation once, but my agent died and our contract went void.18) YOU HAVE 7 WORDS TO SELL YOURSELF TO AN AGENT/PUBLISHER… GO!
I just wrote a better book and started over again.
Polished, Edited, Driven, Unique, Ready for Battle!19) Why do you blog?
It’s a great way to expose my work while helping other authors. (Have I profusely thanked you for this interview yet? Because you've inspired me!)20) WHAT DOES SHENANIGANS MEAN TO YOU?
It’s an Irish term used for the word to jest or to prank in good fun. No, I didn’t know that off the top of my head, but I have smart friends. If you thought Deirdra was a beast, you should see her blog! A Storybook World.

Deirdra's awesome! #17 sure is a low moment, but I love how she overcame it! Just brush yourself off and keep going.

I was just on , Deirdras'blog and I clicked on some of her interview sites so here I am!
Great questions and interview!
At some point I would like to be interviewed! I am a self published author! I have written one book. It was published in 2011. I really haven't done much to market the book nor promote it. Blogging seems like an excellent way to achieve doing both! I've only been blogging since 2011 and I think it is great!
Perhaps you could take a look at my book blog just to get an idea of what I've written about!
My book blog:
